Key benefits
- Highly potent, Single feed efficacy
- Exceptionally fast eradication
- Extremely palatable and durable wax block
How it works
Storm® Wax Block Bait contains a powerful second-generation anticoagulant rodenticide formulated with BASF Fortec™ Technology into a compressed cereal grain block, with an added fungicide to prevent mould in humid or damp conditions.
Only a very small amount of Storm® is needed to kill a rat or mouse, and a lethal dose can be consumed in a single feed. Rodents then die three to five days after taking the bait. With some other rodenticides, rodents die more than a week after taking the bait.
Storm® is a highly palatable and durable bait block that is quick and easy to use. A central hole allows each block to be anchored securely in baiting points for the best targeting and to prevent removal.
When Storm® is used for pulse baiting, its potency means that less bait is required to achieve control – even when baits are still placed in as many points as possible. That makes Storm Secure more economical than other rodenticides.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
-
What is Storm® Wax Block Bait (WBB)?
Storm® Secure Wax Block Bait (WBB) is a highly palatable cereal based, wax-based rodenticide bait block with warning dyes, intended to control rats and mice. It is a 4g solid wax block bait designed to be palatable and durable for rodents to consume, its smaller size makes it easier for rodents to grasp allowing for ease of engagement and consumption. It contains active ingredients that effectively eliminate rodent infestations in various settings.
-
What pests does Storm® Wax Block Bait (WBB) target?
This bait is primarily used to control rats and mice.
-
How does Storm® Secure Wax Block Bait (WBB) work?
The bait contains anticoagulant active ingredients that disrupt the blood clotting process in rodents, leading to their death after ingestion.
-
Where can I use Storm® Wax Block Bait (WBB)?
It is suitable for use in sugarcane, cocoa, oil palm, banana, and pineapple plantations. Always follow local regulations and label instructions.
-
How should I place the bait blocks?
Place bait blocks in areas where rodent activity is evident, such as places where there is damage to crop, or near holes or burrows.
-
How long does it take for the bait to be effective?
Rodents usually consume the bait and die within a few days. Complete control depends on the size of the infestation and proper bait placement.
-
Can rodents develop resistance to Storm® Wax Block Bait (WBB)?
Resistance to anticoagulant rodenticides can occur but is generally low with proper use. Rotating rodenticides and integrating other control methods can help manage resistance.
-
What precautions should I take during application?
Wear protective gloves, avoid direct contact with bait, and wash hands after use. Keep bait out of reach of children, pets, and non-target animals.
